Luke Phillips spent the last six months at Walter Reed recovering from war injuries and wants nothing more than to retreat into a quiet, civilian life as a college professor. As he works with his lifelong friend, Mike O'Brien, now an NYPD detective, to solve the mystery of the body on the beach, Luke is reunited with Jenny, his high school sweetheart. The two team up to investigate the killing, but before long they find themselves hunting a serial killer, a killer who is scattering bodies at some of the most iconic sites in Brooklyn.
